In today’s video, I’m going to be talking about how to use your life story to make money online. I’m talking about selling services, courses, workbooks, audiobooks, and coaching packages off of your own personal experience.
It’s especially a golden opportunity when life has served you an underlying theme over and over again throughout your experiences. That’s when you know the universe is really trying to get something through to you. It’s a repeated lesson in your life. It wont let up.
Personally for me, it’s self love and female empowerment. But whatever life’s learning lessons are for you, you can surely do something about it called alchemy – which is taking something you’ve experienced and flipping it into something positive and making it work for your benefit.
And what better way is there to do that than turning yourself into businesswoman and making our own money by turning lemons into lemonade?
I’m here to tell you that whatever you’ve been through—even the worst of the worst—can be the foundation of an online brand that’s not only profitable for you but impacts other people’s lives for the better.
Let’s just say your thing was suffering through bad relationships or abuse or financial turmoil or being the black sheep or whatever your path has been.
But you made it through. You’re now on the other side, still standing by the grace of God. You’re a survivor – and guess what? People need to hear your survivor story. They need to be inspired by how you got through it, especially if they’re still going through it. I know you’ve learned a thing or two that can help the next sister out.
And honestly, what better way is there to use your wisdom than by packaging it up, putting a pretty bow on it, and turning it into a brand that brings in a profit for you? Again, that’s the ultimate alchemy.
First things first—you have to believe that your story has incredible value. Maybe you’ve spent years working through self-love issues, finding faith, or finally standing up for yourself. That journey alone is a goldmine. You didn’t come this far just to keep those lessons to yourself.
Think about it—if you could help even one person avoid those late night tears, wouldn’t you want to? There are women out there right now who need to know how to get through what you already got through. And that’s where this beautiful thing called online coaching comes in.
This is where the magic happens. Imagine putting together a digital course or a training package that walks someone else through your journey. Let’s say you went from feeling unloved and unseen to now feeling like a confident boss who knows her worth. You could create a whole course about how to boost self-love and confidence, step-by-step. You could teach people how to get their minds right, how to stop settling, how to go from doubting themselves to loving who they are inside and out.
And the best part? Once it’s created, it’s evergreen, meaning you don’t have to redo it over and over again. It’s set up to keep selling on autopilot, even while you’re out there living your life or sleeping pretty. You could wake up and see thousands of dollars in your bank account just from setting your branding material at the right price.
So like I always say, don’t be too shy to put yourself out there.
That’s a huge hurdle to get over because branding yourself online actually feels like you’re putting yourself on the world stage. And it’s easier to just shrink back and stay low key and unseen.
But I think you already know by now that your purpose is more powerful than that!
If you’re watching this, I know that you feel like you’re being called to step into the limelight and do more. So be brave and do it.
It can feel like a tug of war when you’re thinking about starting. Like should I do it/ should I not do it? But don’t let the side that tells you not to do it win.
You went through what you went through for a reason, so see it all the way through to the end. Know that you have a very unique perspective on things – one that could be crucial to someone else’s healing journey.
Your experiences are your credentials. You’ve already done the hard work. Now, let’s package it up in a way that feels aligned, that feels authentically you.
